watt s as a class B station, using adirectional antenna with slightly different daytime and nighttime directional patterns in order to protect various other stations on that frequency. Both daytime and the tighter nighttime patterns of WEAV are directed mostly to the north and west of Plattsburgh, with not a lot of signal strength reaching deep into Vermont. WEAV's programming is also simulcast inWTSJ (1320) inRandolph, Vermont .Previously, the station broadcast the talk programming in a simulcast with sister station
WXZO ; because of the station's patterns, WEAV's signal had been the perfect complement to the WXZO signal, reaching well into the much larger metro area ofMontréal, Québec . The simulcast was broken up in September 2008, when WXZO switched to anoldies format; however, the two stations continue to simulcast "First Light" and "Imus in the Morning ".External links
