Power supply tester

Power supply tester

A power supply tester is a tool used to test the functionality of a computer's power supply. It is plugged in at one end to the power supply's 20 (24) pin connector. This is the connector used on all testers, from simple to advanced. More advanced testers can check more connectors such as those that connect to hard drives, and floppy drives, as well as SATA power connectors, and P4 connector.
