St Thomas's Community Network

St Thomas's Community Network [http://www.connexions-bc.co.uk/choices/wbl_detail.aspx?VenueID=165] is a community facility which serves the St Thomas's parish of Dudley, West Midlands, England. It is located in Beechwood Road, Kates Hill, within the buildings of Blue Coat School, which closed in 1989. It offers youth club facilities to children and teenagers, as well as educational support to young people who require assistance with literacy, numeracy or English as a second language. A qualified tutor is employed for these sessions. This education support is a particularly important asset in the St Thomas's area, as a large percentage of its residents were born outside the United Kingdom - mostly in the Indian sub-continent.
