Babette Blue

Babette Blue (born in Brussels, Belgium on 23 February 1940) is a now retired adult actress. Babette had a varied career prior to entering the pornographic industry. She started out as a fashion model and appeared on the runways of Paris and Milan in her youth, before progressing to touring Europe with her own ensemble, where her acts included a Marilyn Monroe parody. She then moved into lingerie presentation and erotic dance shows, as well as running a popular cafe in Antwerp.

Babette's initial career in hardcore pornography was as a make-up artist for Belgian label X-Kiss, where she could also be seen in non-sex roles in the backgrounds of some of the productions. She was hired by DBM (Dolly Buster Media) with an exclusive contract at the age of 55 for her own-name label Family Blue. The label was active between 1995 and 2002, during which time over a dozen titles were produced. Babette is multi-lingual (French and German), though her performances are mostly dubbed into German by other actresses.

While Babette primarily participated on screen in oral and vaginal sex, mostly with younger men, many of her film appearances involved fisting of other female pornographic actresses. She was given the European pornographic industry's Venue award in 2002. Babette is said to have retired from adult films in 2003 to return to Antwerp. She still works in the 'entertainment industry'
