William Walton (cricketer)

William Walton (August 7, 1862 — February 16, 1925) was an English cricketer. He was born and died in Glossop, Derbyshire.

Walton appeared in one County Match for Derbyshire in 1887, as an opening batsman. He did not perform well and Derbyshire finished the season at the bottom of the Championship with six losses from six games.

Walton's father, Matthew, appeared in one match for Lancashire in 1867.
