Guitarist Steve Amaral originally from
Woodland, California is a founding member of Sacramento'sRed Star Memorial .Red Star Memorial played together from June 2000 to August 2004. In those 4 years the band released the CD "It's About Time" 2004, produced by David Houston. Members of Red Star Memorial include Bobby Jordan, Chris Amaral, and Bryce Gonzales.
Steve also played guitar for the Sacramento pop band
Popgun . Steve released two CDs with Popgun, "N.U. Machine 2003", (produced by David Houston and mastered by Dana Gumbiner of Deathray. Guest guitarist on N.U. Machine, Greg Brown of Cake and Deathray) on Poprockit Records (owned by Kevin Seconds) and "I Love the Gun" 2006 produced by Dana Gumbiner of Deathray. Steve has toured to England where he and Popgun where part of the IPO Concert series at theCavern Club in Liverpool.Currently Steve is in a new band with Red Star Memorial members, Bobby Jordan and his brother Chris Amaral, the new band is called,
