Fairy Fore was a Japanese rock band. Their music was used for a few anime theme songs, such as debut single "Love Sick", second single "Vivid" and 4th single "Jet".

Biography

Fairy Fore started as the band Fir~reforle in 1994. Their line-up was Takashi on vocals, Yasu on bass and Yoko on drums. Fir~reforle performed mostly in the Indies scene at Tokyo and released five demo-tapes, but were still unable to get their big break. However, in 1999 they finally started to get known when Akihide joined the band, and they got a few songs on the compilation album call "Cross*D Lovers". In 2000, they changed the band name to Fairy Fore and released the album known as "LOOP". 2001 found Fairy Fore releasing their first single, "Love Sick." This single was released by Avex Trax and in 2002 they released their first full album, "Heaven's Market."

On September 1, after two national tours, Akihide decided to leave the band. They recruited two supporting guitarists, Fujiwara Eiji and Shuu. Together with them they released another single in November, “Youphilous”. A second press of the single followed on Christmas Eve.

Eiji became their new guitarist in 2004, and they toured a lot. One of the results of this tour was their very first DVD, called “Spice Shower”, which contained live footage from their concert at the Shibuya O-crest. In July they released their latest single called “Sentimental case”, but late July, Eiji left the band. The remaining three members did infrequent concerts and in May they released their third album: "Kono hana ga karerumade".

After a career of 11 years, they disbanded. They had a small, last tour in November and December which was called "Thank you for your million smile" and disbanded after the final concert on December 11. Right now First Guitarist Akihide is in the band call 'Never Land'. Yasu was in A band called 'Beauty Maniacs' but now he has joined the band "Acalli", and Yoko is in the band called "Orpheus"
