Fairfield, Ohio , Fred Schule, fromUniversity of Michigan , was an AAU Champion in convert|120|yd|abbr=on hurdles in 1903.Despite that, Schule wasn't considered as a favourite to the Olympic Champion title in St. Louis. The main favourites were the 1903 and 1904

In St. Louis, Schule won his heat easily and beat Schideler in the final by two yards. Schule also competed in the 200 metre hurdles event and finished fifth.Fred Schule died in
