Whorfin class starship

The Whorfin class starship is the name some people give to an unnamed starship class in the Star Trek universe. It was featured only in "Star Trek Generations" as the class of the ships caught in the Nexus transporting 415 El Aurians refugees to Earth in 2293. While appearing on many fan sites, the class was never named onscreen, is not in "The Star Trek Encyclopedia", and is nowhere to be found on the Star Trek website, so it is not officially considered canon. The class appears to have been named after the character Lord John Whorfin from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension.

Known ships

*"SS Robert Fox" was one of two ships transporting El-Aurians refugees to Earth. This ship was carrying 265 of the 415 refugees. It was destroyed by the Nexus before the "Enterprise"-B could rescue any.

*"SS Lakul" was the other ship transporting El-Aurians refugees to Earth, carrying 150. The Enterprise-B was able to save only 37 out of those 150 El-Aurians. Among those 37 were Guinan and Dr. Tolian Soran. It was also destroyed by the Nexus.
