"Baby Fratelli" is The Fratellis' fourth single from their debut album Costello Music. It was released on March 12, 2007, in CD, 7-inch vinyl, and DVD single formats. A limited edition USB stick was later released on March 19, 2007. This USB stick contained a weblink to an exclusive documentary, as well as a competition to see The Fratellis in New York City on March 23, 2007. 7,000 copies of the USB stick format have been sold, although this format isn't chart eligible.

"Time" magazine named "Baby Fratelli" one of The 10 Best Songs of 2007, ranking it at #10. Writer Josh Tyrangiel, while criticizing the band’s lack of originality, and the derivativeness of the song, praised the “unapologetically glammed up, eight ball of a rock song”, which he called “a high-energy ode to the thrill of stupidity, thus its prominent place on the "Hot Fuzz" soundtrack.” [Tyrangiel, Josh; "The Best Top 10 Lists of the Year"; "The 10 Best Songs"; "Time" magazine; December 24, 2007; Page 39.] [ [http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/top10/article/0,30583,1686204_1686244_1690708,00.html "Time" magazine's Top 10 Songs of 2007 at time.com] ]

The video was filmed in Manchester in December 2006, and shows the boys playing on top of a roof, as well as showing clips from the 2007 movie "Hot Fuzz", which features "Baby Fratelli" on its soundtrack. "Ooh La Hot Love" is a combination of Goldfrapp's "Ooh La La" and T. Rex's "Hot Love", and has also been performed on the Live Lounge segment of "The Jo Whiley Show" on BBC Radio 1.
