The Great Choral Synagogue of Kiev also known as the Podil Synagogue, is situated in Kiev, Ukraine.

History

The synagouge was built 1895 and reconstructed in 1915. [http://www.jewukr.org/frames_e.html Jewish Confederation of Ukraine] ] Gabriel Jakob Rozenberg and Wladimir Gorazjewitsch Ginzburg, two merchants, financed the building.
