Mass properties

Mass properties

The Mass Properties of an object are its:
*Mass
*Center of Gravity
*Moment of Inertia
*Product of Inertia

ee also

*SAWE, Society of Allied Weight Engineers

Mass Properties is the discipline that deals with recording and reporting weight information for any number of machines, usually aircraft. A Mass Properties engineer will usually be found on aircraft projects due to the importance of weight.
