Ffynnon Llugwy (Welsh : "source of Llugwy)" is a lake in the Carneddau range of mountains in Snowdonia, North Wales.

It lies at a height of about Convert|1786|ft|m|0 and covers an area of some Convert|40|acre|ha|2. It has a maximum depth of Convert|146|ft|m|0|abbr=on|abbr=on.

The lake acts as a reservoir, providing water for Anglesey and Bangor, and some water is also taken from its outflow, Afon Llugwy to feed Llyn Cowlyd via a series of leats.

Afon Llugwy which flows via Capel Curig and Betws-y-coed before becoming a tributary of the river Conwy.
