Career
Elfadil was born in the village of
Araggi in theNorthern State of Sudan. He moved with his family to the village ofWad El-bor in the state ofAl Jazirah in central Sudan, however, where he received his primary education and where his family still lives today. He studied Russian inRussia and received his PhD in Russian Language, after which he returned to Sudan, where he was appointed as a lecturer in theRussian Language Department in the Faculty Of Arts atKhartoum University . He worked there until he was expelled in the early 1990s along with many other lecturers and hundreds of student after protests about the military coup byOmar al-Bashir . He currently lives inSaudi Arabia .Works
