- Michael Carrington (TV)
Born in 1961, Michael Carrington is Controller of
CBeebies (theBBC 's brand for children 6 years and under). Working to the Controller of BBC Children's, Carrington is the commissioner and also editorially responsible for the CBeebies digital children’s channel; which includes all CBeebies output on BBC ONE and BBC TWO; CBeebies Radio onBBC7 , and for the website [http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies CBeebies] . He is charged with driving forward the CBeebies brand in a multi-platform world, ensuring its creative ambitions and maintaining strong relationships with in-house departments and the independent production community. Carrington is a member of the BBC Children’s Board and the BBC Vision Editorial Group.
