History and Background

*The 601 Connecticut Robusto received an 88 rating in the February, 2007, issue of [http://www.cigaraficionado.com Cigar Aficionado] magazine. ["Cigar Aficionado", February, 2007, p. 179.]

*The 601 Habano (red label) Robusto received a 90 rating in the October 2007 issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine.

Description

This brand is available in four ranges of five vitolas each and one range of four. All ranges come in boxes of 20.

601 Connecticut

A medium to full-bodied smoke, the filler and binder are Nicaraguan tobacco and the wrapper is Ecuadoran-grown Connecticut-seed tobacco. The band has gold printing on a black background.

601 Habano Oscuro

Released in August 2007, this is the strongest of the 601 series. The filler and binder use Nicaraguan leaf and the wrapper is Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro. The band has a green background with gold printing, similar to the others in this series. This extension consists of five vitolas and they come in 20 count boxes, except for the Corona, which is packed in 40 ct. boxes.
