Draw the Line is a tribute band to the prominent American Rock band, Aerosmith. Like Aerosmith, they are based out of the area of Boston, Massachusetts. The get their name from the 1977 album, Draw the Line

Reputation

Aerosmith Endorsement

They are the only tribute band to have been endorsed by Aerosmith. During a January 1998 radio interview, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler singled out Draw The Line as the best of the Aerosmith tribute bands. They are the only tribute band who has been featured on the Official Aerosmith Website as well as that of Aerosmith's Official Fan Club. [http://www.drawtheline.net/media_statement.html]

Rare Songs

They have a reputation for playing songs the Aerosmith has either never played, or has played very infrequently in more recent years. Some of these songs include Kings and Queens, Movin Out, Combination, Write Me, Bone to Bone (Coney Island White Fish Boy), One Way Street and more.

Media Appearances

Draw the Line has had many appearances in the media, including MTV's Ultimate Cover Band contest, as well as other promotions for MTV.

In August 2006, they filmed an appearance in the upcoming film, All Along, starring Krista Allen.

In September 2007, they were featured in a segment on CBS News Sunday Morning about the best tribute bands in the country.

Neill Byrnes

Draw the Line is lead by lead singer Neill Byrnes, who also works as a celebrity impersonator. He has won a Steven Tyler look-alike contest on 107.3 WAAF, one of Boston's biggest rock radio stations. [http://www.drawtheline.net/media_statement.html]

Donnie Noyes

In the role of Lead Guitarist Joe Perry, is Donnie Noyes. Donnie faithfully recreates the stage presence of Perry, musically, vocally, and visually. He can also be seen in his own band, The Donnie Noyes Project, just as Perry had his own band, The Joe Perry Project.

Rhythm Section

Draw the Line is rounded up by Justin Hunt as Bass Player Tom Hamilton, Steven Drew as Guitar Player Brad Whitford, and Chris Pereto as drummer Joey Kramer.
