"Play with Toys" is the debut album of Basehead. Voted one of the top 50 albums of 1992 in Q magazine, [ [http://www.rocklistmusic.co.uk/qlists.html#1992 Q - End of Year Lists ] ] Voted #43 in NME’s top albums of 1992. [ [http://www.rocklistmusic.co.uk/1992.html 1992 NME Lists ] ] the album was originally released in limited quantities on the Emigre label [ECD 005] and was subsequently rereleased on a larger label, Imago, with some of the tracks altered to remove samples that had not been cleared prior to its initial release.
