enior season (2006-07)

Burke earned the nickname "Biscuits" during his senior season due to a unique marketing campaign initiated during the 2005-06 season between the Tar Heel basketball program and the Bojangles' chain of fast food restaurants. Whenever a Tar Heels team scores 100 points or more in a game, anyone can buy two sausage biscuits for $1.00 at participating Bojangles' restaurants statewide. (The biscuits are normally $1.79 each.) Twice during the 2006-07 season (Jan. 3 vs Penn and Jan. 31 vs
Miami), Burke hit the 3-pointer that pushed the Tar Heels over the century mark. "Biscuits" indeed!cite web|url= http://unc.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2233881778|title=Dewey equals Biscuits |publisher="Paul Burke" |date=February 27, 2007]

It was around this time that Burke received write in votes for the 2007 SBP elections at UNC.cite web|url= http://media.www.dailytarheel.com/media/storage/paper885/news/2007/02/15/University/Jesus.Comes.Up.Short.In.Election-2721260.shtml|title= Jesus Comes Up Short in Election |publisher="Greg Margolis" |date=February 15, 2007]
