United States is a woman.The film is set in 1970, and the
United States is considering building bases on theMoon . A female colonel and two men are sent to orbit the Moon to survey for a possible landing area for future lunar missions, but things go haywire and their rocket ends up landing on the Moon where they wait for rescue...The interior set of the spaceship was later used in the film "
