Briarton is an unincorporated community in Shawano County, Wisconsin, United States, in the town of Lessor, west of Green Bay. Briarton is a small community that started out as a Belgian settlement. Today, there is little economic activity in Briarton; however, there is a steel shop in town. Briarton appears on the Nichols U.S. Geological Survey. Transportation

Briarton is located at the intersection of Wisconsin Highway 156 and Old State Highway 47 Road. Hwy 156 is a well traveled highway and indirectly connect Briarton with the large cities. Briarton can also be reached by snowmobile trail during the winter months as trials run into town.
