Sibsey

Sibsey is a civil parish and village on the A16 road and B1184 in the English county of Lincolnshire in the district of East Lindsey. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 1,996.

Sibsey's most prominent [http://microsites.lincolnshire.gov.uk/Windmills/section.asp?catId=3357 feature] is the Sibsey Trader Mill which was completed in 1877 and is still in operation. ["See talk"] The village pub is the "White Hart" on "Main Road". Although the postal address for residences includes nearby Boston, it is not in that borough.

Set in the fertile fens of Lincolnshire, Sibsey is an important part of the farming community. The village is surrounded by farmland. The Grantham to Skegness Line passes close to the south-east of the village with level crossings over the [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/363310 B1184] and A16.
