Bristol provided the chassis for an experimental class of
railbus es in 1958. The railbus used a Gardner convert|112|hp engine and a hydraulic automatic transmission. The bodywork was built byEastern Coach Works . Two such vehicles were built and used on branch lines inScotland , but no further orders were placed and the pair were withdrawn and scrapped in 1966.References
