Savheri Chirwa

Savheri Chirwa (born 1970) is a Zimbabwean sculptor.

Born in Mhondoro, Chirwa is the second of five; he grew up and completed his primary schooling in his native town. He began sculpting in 1993, assisting his uncle, Ronny Dongwa. After two years he set out to work with Lameck Bonjisi, spending a further two years as an apprentice before beginning work on his own. Most of his sculptures depict the human form.
