Sukumar

Sukumar(Bandreddi) is a Tollywood film director and screenwriter. Sukumar worked as assistant director for the film "Dil". His directorial debut "Arya" was a sensational hit.

Background

He was a Mathematics lecturer before, he came to the film industry. He used to work in Aditya Tutorials, Kakinada. Since childhood, he had a passion for films, which eventually brought him Hyderabad. Russian Novels influenced him a lot. Later worked as an assistant director for the film “Dil” with -V.V.Vinayk and directed his first film in “Arya” in 2004, which went on to become a sensational hit. His next film was "Jagadam" with "Devadasu" fame Ram in the lead role. The film generated enormous interest within the film fraternity but was a failure at the box office.
