Mehdi Amirabadi (Persian: مهدی امیرآبادی, born February 22, 1979 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian footballer. He currently plays for Iran's Premier Football League's Esteghlal, usually as a Side Back.

Since joining the club in 2005 he has again and again proven himself at the club scoring many vital goals as well as saving many.He has been the regular player since he joined Esteghlal on the righ side for the team.
