Lady Liberators (comics)

Lady Liberators (comics)

The Lady Liberators, also called the Liberators, are a fictional superhero team that appeared in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Their only appearance was in "Avengers" (Vol.1) #83, written by Roy Thomas. The group may have been a commentary on what was then known as "women's lib".

They were a group of female Avengers mind-controlled by the Enchantress. They consisted of: the Wasp, Black Widow, the Scarlet Witch, Madame Medusa, and were led by Valkyrie (actually a disguised Enchantress).
