- Fiore Siano
Fiore Ernest Siano (1927 -
May 1964?) was a New York criminal anddrug trafficker who was a nephew of mob informantJoe Valachi .Siano was a career criminal with arrests for
burglary andnarcotics violations dating back to 1948. In late 1954, Siano was convicted of distributingheroin andcocaine to New York and interstate drug traffickers. OnNovember 27 ,1954 Siano was sentenced to eight years imprisonment. Authorities also suspected Siano in the murders ofSteven Franse andEugenio Giannini [http://www.crimelibrary.com/gangsters_outlaws/mob_bosses/valachi/times_8.html] .After his release from prison, rumors started that Siano had talked to prosecutors about the Gainini murder. In late April or early May 1964, Siano was observed leaving a pizzeria in
