Letneozerskiy (also Obozerskiy Southeast or Letneozerskiy) is an air base in Karelia, Russia located 7 km southeast of Obozerskiy. It was home to 524 IAP (524th Interceptor Aviation Regiment) which flew MiG-25 interceptor aircraft [cite web| title = Aviatsiya PVO | publisher = Aviabaza KPOI. | url = http://airbase.ru/squad/russia/avpvo/ ] . It features two major revetment areas holding over 15 aircraft each. Provides supporting cover for the Onega and Arkhangelsk region.
