Gambino crime family Mafia boss, John Gotti and his wife Victoria DiGiorgio Gotti along with Angela (Angel), Peter, John A. "Junior" Gotti, and Frank Gotti, who died in 1980.In 1984, Victoria married
Carmine Agnello and had four children with him: Carmine Agnello Jr., John Agnello, Frank Agnello, and a stillborn daughter, Justine. In 2000, he was arrested and charged withracketeering andarson . He was convicted offelony charges, and received a nine year sentence for racketeering. Victoria Gotti was granted a divorce from Carmine Agnello in 2003 on grounds of constructive abandonment by Agnello (no sexual relations for more than a year) because he was in jail. New York Post and UStabloid "Star", and has written the following books: "Senator's Daughter" (1997), "I'll Be Watching You" (1998), "Superstar" (2000), and "Hot Italian Dish" (2006).From August 2004 until December 2005, she was the star of "
Growing Up Gotti ", an Americanreality television on theA&E Network . The show, which was short lived, also featured her three sons.The Smoking Gun launched a parody of sorts entitled " [http://www.thesmokinggun.com/blowingupgotti/ Blowing Up Gotti] ", which consisted of family visits toJohn Gotti while he was in prison that prison officials routinely taped.A&E faced exceptional criticism for the show. organized crime . Many have also complained about the foul language used on the show, as well as the dysfunctional relationship between Victoria Gotti and her sons. mitral valve prolapse and wears a pacemaker. She has also written about this condition.In August 2005, she claimed she had
breast cancer . However, after being accused of feigning her illness by some media outlets, she admitted soon after her initial announcement that she did not have full-blown cancer but rather had "precancerous cells " present in her breast. Her publicist, Matt Rich, quit after the false breast cancer incident.References
