rail shooter game created for the third time by the well known game development companyKonami . This shooter is the true third installment of the video game series, "Silent Scope". This video game had been released during the month of October in2002 only on thePlayStation 2 game console.Gameplay
As like the other versions of this game, you primarily control a large sniper rifle that has a rather long range of sight, leading to high enemy kill efficiency. A large scope is also equipped on to your character which results in a far more zoomed ability for greater efficiency. One rather unleading factor of this home console version of Silent Scope 3 is the fact that a gun controller is not featured, which makes the game less enjoyable. Fortunately however, Konami decided to also add in the arcade version of this game, which is known as Silent Scope EX. The overall theme style within this game is for your character to continuously head to various different areas such as at the top of the building on rails as to set a specific vantage point. While at this new vantage point, you will be tasked to silently shoot the various enemies that appear before your scope. Your speed and accuracy in this game seems to effect your story, but it seems that every story difference becomes the same within the end part however. After the first mission is completed, you have the freedom to choose any such alternate mission that you please, but it needs to be completed if you wish to finish the game. This game also seems to have a minor amount of enemy character models, in which almost every opponent that lies before you will seem to be wearing some kind of mask, resulting in many different familiar traits within each enemy. Different levels of precision are also available, in which you are allowed to either lock on to your enemy or not. R1 and L2 can also be useful by changing your set vantage point, but this ends up doing little to the overall rail shooting style concept.
