Consolidated Graphics

Consolidated Graphics

Consolidated Graphics (NYSECGX) is a national, commercial printing company based in Houston, Texas. Founded in 1985 by Joe R. Davis, the company has grown to over 70 locations across 26 states and is known as the leading sheetfed, web and digital printing company in North America.

One of the more interesting aspects of Consolidated Graphics is its nationally recognized Leadership Development Program. This 3-year program (started in 1991) takes recent college graduates and trains them in a rotational program on every aspect of the printing business. Associates in the Leadership Development Program work in production, estimating, customer service, purchasing, and accounting before ultimately moving into senior sales and management positions within the company.

Companies under the Consolidated Graphics umbrella operate independently with their own management, sales force, and market presence. This business model allows these flexible, local printing companies to have the purchasing power and resources of a well managed national corporation.

CGXSolutions is a company owned and operated by Consolidated Graphics. Also based in Houston, Texas, this technology-driven center offers products and services to help the business drive their printing needs. The products include: Storefront, Digital Asset Management and Crossmedia.
