He became a standoutpoint guard in his collegiate career, and was named a first team All-American his senior year along with future NBA playersJay Williams ,Juan Dixon ,Drew Gooden , andDan Dickau .He attended St. Edward High School in
Lakewood, Ohio where he won a state championship. In his senior year of high school he won Gatorade player of the year. He attended theUniversity of Cincinnati becoming one of the best players in the country in his junior and senior year. He is the school's second all-time scorer behindOscar Robertson .Despite strong performances in his senior year, Logan slipped to the second round of the
2002 NBA draft mainly due to concern about his height (5'10"). As a result of being a second-rounder, the Warriors refused to offer him a guaranteed contract. After a bitter contract dispute with theGolden State Warriors , Logan did not sign a contract. His draft rights were later traded to theDallas Mavericks . In 2006 he played inPoland , and the next year inIsrael .
