Tolmie is a small rural town in north-eastern Victoria, Australia. It is located convert|22|km|mi|0|lk=on north-east of Mansfield.

The Post Office opened on 1 February 1877 as Wombat, was renamed Tolmie in 1879, and closed in 1971 . Citation

Tolmie holds an annual community event, known as Tolmie Sports, in February.

Much of the heavily forested countryside surrounding Tolmie was devastated by bushfires in 2006/07.
