Brazos River Authority

The Brazos River Authority was created in 1929 by the Texas Legislature as a quasi-governmental entity to manage the Brazos River as a water resource in Texas. The following reservoirs are managed by the authority:

* Allens Creek Reservoir a tributary to the Brazos River.
* Lake Granbury
* Lake Limestone on the Navasota River
* Possum Kingdom Lake
