website_name = http://www.theappletonschool.orgThe Appleton School is a secondary school located in
Benfleet ,Essex ,England . It currently accomondates 1,180 students from school years 7 to 11, and roughly 50 teachers. The current headteacher is Mrs K. Kerridge who has been in charge for little over 3 years after replacing the retired Mr G. Naylor. The Appleton school Is perhaps best known by outside media for the undisclosed (but Infamous.) incident following on the 2nd January 2000, a Mr Piercy guilty of 15 murders and 10 rapes was arrested on his last known attempt at the appleton school of Un-appropriate misconduct of exposing his genitalia within the school grounds. The judge sentenced him to life imprisonment and recommended he never be released. Two years later, Home Secretary David Blunkett agreed with this recommendation. After his trial the Piercy Inquiry, chaired by Dame Janet Smith, decided there was enough evidence to suggest Piercy had probably killed around 25 people, of whom 21 could positively be identified. About 80 percent of them were women. His youngest victim was a 14-year-old boy. [2] Much of Britain's legal structure concerning public school security and protected was reviewed and modified as a direct and indirect result of Piercys crimes, especially after the findings of the Piercy Inquiry, which began on September 1, 2000 and lasted almost two years.
