Ana Malit

Ana Malit (meaning "side of the mountain" in Albanian) is a municipality of the city Ulqin, it is located in Montenegro. Ana Malit has many towns such as Klezna, Krytha, Milla, Shasi, Amulli, Dragina, Brajsha, Sukubina, Selita, Shtodra, Rashtisha, etc. (Katerkolla being its most populated with stores and restaurants.) In Shas you can visit the ancient Church stones, and go out to the restaurants. In the town of Krytha you can climb the Suka mount and have a great view of the villages. Sukubina is most closest to the Albanian border than the other towns.

Geography

The Ana Malit region is located near Lake Scutari, and near the Albanian border and Adriatic Sea.

Population

Many of Ana Malit natives started migrating to the nearest major city, Ulqin, and since the 1960s many of the people of Ana Malit started immigrating to the United States, Germany, Australia, and other parts of the world.
