Yeshiva University , the school is located in Holliswood, in theNew York City borough ofQueens . Rochelle Brand is the head of school.Values
Like the Yeshiva University High School for Boys, YUHSG has as its educational mission to teach and perpetuate the Modern Orthodox Jewish philosophy of Torah U'Madda. Its goal is to prepare its students for adulthood both as knowledgeable and committed Jews and as broadly educated, intellectually curious, and caring members of the general society. The dress code at Yeshiva University High School for Girls is extremely strict. No collarbones, elbows, or knees may be visible, and socks must be worn at all times. While students become frustrated with this rule, and teachers do not understand the purpose and reasoning behind it, the fact remains that socks are available for purchase in the office if a student neglects this rule.
