Ann Mortifee CM (born
30 November 1947 inZululand ,South Africa ) is a Canadian-basedsinger-songwriter , writer and speaker. After emigrating to Canada in childhood, she spent her youth inVancouver ,British Columbia . At the beginning of her musical career, she joined the cast of the original Vancouver production of "The Ecstasy of Rita Joe ". She currently lives onCortes Island, British Columbia .Discography
