Usha Kirana is a major Kannada newspaper which has its headquarters in Bangalore, Karnataka. The newspaper was earlier owned by Vijay Sankeshwara and was recently sold to the Bennett, Coleman and Company, publishers of India's leading newspaper, The Times of India. After Bennett, Coleman took over they closed down this newspaper and they started The Times of India's Kannada version.
