Stârciu ( _hu. Bogdánháza) is a village to the southeast of
Zalău inRomania . In 1910, the town had 1,505 inhabitants: 1,453 Romanians and 25 Hungarians. Until 1919 the village was part of theKingdom of Hungary 's Szilágy county; it was again part ofHungary duringWorld War II (1940 to 1944). Today, it is administered as a part ofHoroatu Crasnei commune inSălaj County .References
