The area around Ponta Verde contains farmlands that partly extends up to 200 to 500 m above sea level, the
Chã das Caldeiras is to the southeast. Grasslands, rocks and ledges and bushes are sporadically founded in its valleys and its coastline with theAtlantic Ocean which is to the northwest.
