João Evora (Capeverdean Crioulo,
ALUPEC orALUPEK : "Jon Ebora", also in the São Vicente Crioulo: "Jon Evora") is the island of São Vicente's northernmost point. The point is accessed with a rural and unused unearthened road that link withSalamansa and nearby Limeirão. It is located about 6 km northeast ofMindelo and approximately 3 to 4 km west ofBaía das Gatas .Geography
The cape's soil colour are light brown, tan red and rarely brown and is made up of rocky ledges, some ledges are colored white. The mountains surround the cape and features a lighthouse. Bushes are very rare and are virutally nowhere to be found.

The promontory offers a panoramic view of the island of Santo Antão with the exception of the southernmost and the northern parts and the
