Kristian Valen

Kristian Valen is a Norwegian comedian and popstar. He was born on the 13th October, 1974, in Stavanger in Western Norway. He started his career in radio, and has now had two TV-programs and released one CD.

His father, Inge Valen, was a famous soccer player for the Norwegian football team "Viking". Kristian Valen started playing soccer already at five years old because his family wanted him to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a famous soccer player. He was really talented, but he gave up when he was 16 years old, because he claimed that it was too serious and he didn't have enough time for friends, girlfriends and practising the guitar . His father was disappointed, and told his son that either he had to get an education or a job.

He is still most famous as a national comedian in Norway after his 2003 show Valen TV.
