Serie B . He played for Sampdoria, both inSerie B andSerie A , until 1969/1970, when Juventus signed him for a then-record 800 millions ITL bid, plusFrancesco Morini andRomeo Benetti . The next year, Vieri moved to AS Roma; in 1972/1973 he played for Bologna, where he stayed until January 1977, when he decided to accept an offer byAustralia n football clubMarconi Stallions , where he played until 1982, except for a one-year stint back at Prato.His sons Christian and Max are also professional footballers, who both appeared at the international level respectively for
