James Arthurs (
4 October 1866 –7 October ,1937 ) was a Canadian senator for the Conservative party, representing the province ofOntario .He was also a member of the

Canadian Senate on20 July 1935 byR.B. Bennett and remained in that office until death.The Commanda General Store in Parry Sound was built and occupied by Arthurs about 1885.
