"The Adventures of Pow Wow the Indian Boy" is an animated
cartoon that played on the "Captain Kangaroo " show during the1950 's. The cartoon featured a pre-adolescent Pow Wow, the tribe'smedicine man , and an Indian girl who was a friend of Pow Wow's. The cartoons were often centered on Pow Wow's discovery of ananimal , hurt or otherwise, and his attempts to protect theforest and wildlife from various threats. When Pow Wow needed help in these missions, he would seek counsel from the wise medicine man.ong Lyrics
