genus ofrhamphorhynchoid pterosaur . The fossil remains, consisting of skull, lower jaw, somevertebra e, parts of the limbs and pelvic girdle, and the tail, were unearthed inLate Triassic rocks ofAustria .This species had a crest on its head that widened as it descended towards the snout. Its flexible tail did not have the stiffening rods present in the rest of its family.
