"Total" is the self-titled debut album from the R&B trio Total. The album reached it's peak at #23 on the US Billboard 200, went platinum and spawned the hit singles "Can't You See" (US #13), "No One Else" (US #22), "Kissin' You" (US #12) & "Do You Think About Us/When Boy Meets Girl" (US #61/#50). The album also features writing from Terri Robinson, ("Terri & Monica, Allure, LL Cool J") and Faith Evans as well as Mike & Q from R&B quartet 112 on "When Boy Meets Girl". (which 112 also provided background vocals for) Member Keisha and her now-husband, actor Omar Epps also collaborated with others writing the track "Tell Me" together on the album.

* The music heard in the background of "Whose Is It? (Interlude)" is Tevin Campbell's "You Don't Have To Worry" which Total co-wrote and sang background vocals on.
* "Kissing You" has been sampled on both Teairra Mari's "Missing You" & Bizzy Bone's "Thugs Need Love Too".
* "When Boy Meets Girl" (which features a prominent sample of the Bee Gees' "Love You Inside Out") was one of the earliest production credits of The Neptunes.
