Associação dos Amigos do Mindelo para a Defesa do Ambiente

The Associação dos Amigos do Mindelo para a Defesa do Ambiente (AAMDA, first part, the Mindelo Friendship Association), is the only government organization in Vila do Conte, Portugal. It was founded in 1992.

The mission of the association is to make the parish of Mindelo and Vila do Conde in general a cleaner and a safer community.

The association founded the "Movement for the Mindelo Bird Reserve" and a national entity promoted for the Ecoclubs.
